Description: In Honduras, gender -based violence (VBG) against women and girls has been increased in recent years, exacerbated by emergency situations due to tropical storms ETA and iota that occurred in 2020.The impact on the Attention services to this violence is still observed despite the efforts made by the country to provide an answer. The availability of health, justice and protection services is insufficient to cover the needs and interests of women. In geographical areas as in indigenous and Afro -descendant communities, access to services is even more critical. Access to quality services, with an approach to human rights that save lives is a necessity for VBG survivors.
