Tenders are invited for Land Tenure, Cultural Land Uses and Participatory Processes in the Honduran Moskitia. · Issue Date and Time: Jul 19,2023 05:37 · Closing Date and Time: Jul 26,2023 23:59 The Objective of this Call for Proposals is to Hire a Firm or International Organization to Conduct a Highly Participatory Assessment in the Moskitia Aimed At: (I) Undertaking a Gap Analysis of Areas Where Land Tenure Security for Indigenous Peoples; Afro-Descendant and Local Communities Continues to be a Challenge; Providing Recommendations for Potential New Policy Measures and/or Investment to Improve Land Security and Thus Incentivize the Adoption of Climate-Smart Agricultural Practices and Technologies; (Ii) Documenting Cultural Land Use Practices of the Indigenous Peoples and Afro-Descendants Who Inhabit the Moskitia; And (Iii) Conducting a Participatory Social Assessment and Related Social Safeguards Instruments that will Inform the Design of Bank Operations in the Region. The Wbg Reserves the Right to Publicly Disclose Contract Award Information, including but not Limited to, Name of Company Receiving the Award, Brief Description of Services, and Contract Award Amount, for Any Contract Award Valued over Us$250,000.
