Management or financial services of public companies - ITEMS 1: Consulting for the Provision of Professional Services CENET Technical Assistant CENET-Ciudad Mujer Program Agreement. ITEMS 2: Project background In Honduras, 26.5% of companies have women as majority ownerslaughs. In general, women's companies are smaller than those of their male counterparts, since they are the owners or main partners of 57% of micro-enterprises, 42% of small companies and 30% of medium-sized companies; and on average, the total sales of women's businesses areabout half of men's businesses. The income obtained from their businesses constitutes the main source for 67% of women entrepreneurs in the country. There are barriers to the performance and growth of their businesses, among which social norms, the degree of formaltheir quality, access to financing and Business Development Services (BDS), as well as an insecure environment. In general, these services are not suitable for each segment or type of business. Only 30% of companies led by women use computers (54% for men), 23% have internet access at their business (46% for men) and 12% use bank transfers to make payments (29% for men). In terms of access to financing, only 55% of women's businesses have obtained credit from a financial institution versus 60% of companies...
